    The Bali Bombers' Execution

It's not exciting, it's just... justice, I guess. I don't particularly like the idea of the death penalty as it takes away basic human right, then again I think if you committ an act like this then you've given up your right to basic human right.

Muslim Cleric to marry 7 years old girl

I question the defense behind it. His original 12yo wife probably hasn't completed puberty, and there is little to no doubt that a 7yo wouldn't have either. As for this being "discrimination" he is the one doing it, not us. If it was a Catholic/Anglican/Buddhist/Islamic/Whatever man...

If you get a UAI of 30.

Not really no, because fortunately there are plenty of ways to get into Accountancy other than immediate University attendance. Also because I've been told by Accountancy teachers/Business teachers/Economics teachers/lecturers/current people in the general occupation area that I have a natural...

    Homosexuality in Australia

Firstly, I've never stated in this topic, this forum or in my life that "only God can judge me so everything I do is ok". Being a believer in God and the general Catholic religion of course there are actions that I don't feel are acceptable and I avoid them as much as possible in a modern world...

From the period of this Thurs night until March. I will drink, I will eat (a little), I will not sleep. Whole year piss up is on 13th. Formal and formal afterparties. A million 18ths. Camping. Christmas parties. New years. More 18ths. Somewhere along the line I'll look for a job...

    Homosexuality in Australia

    1) As I've tried to explain, I'm yet to be shown evidence of where in a religious text it says that homosexuality is wrong. Just because it goes against the norm doesn't make it amoral. The closest that a person has come to evidence is saying that there were no homosexual relationships depicted...

Should teachers be allowed to administer corporal punishment?

Special occasions, after use of a disciplinary system of warnings. I have seen some really bastard children who deserve a good kick up the pants from Mum/Dad and anyone else who is an authorative figure (including myself when younger). When I decided it was good to be a feral child and skip...

    Homosexuality in Australia

It's all good and fine to be against homosexuality for x amount of reasons (which could probably be contested too) and simply be a religious person but to say that you are against homosexuality because your religion says it is wrong is basically going against any religion. As far as my...

    Section I: Multiple Choice

I was wondering about that. Doesn't it have to do with supply, where if they purchase the securities then it means there is less available which will decrease liquidity and place pressure on rates?

    Homosexuality in Australia

Putting down homosexuality on the basis of religion is ridiculous, basically all relgion says that "only God can judge people" and that "God is all-forgiving" not "God says don't have homosexual sex". The end. I know lots of gay people who are very nice. No issues with it.
