    Majors in B Com/Arts

You can in the 2007 program, and the workload is fine, it's just the allocation of subjects over 5 years. But they changed the Arts and Commerce degrees in 2010 so you have more required subjects to do [such as a useless MMGT course] so you might not be able to. You definitely can with arts, and...

Ways of getting Commerce at UNSW?!

They're a bit different as of next year ^ Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics in 2010 | Undergraduate | Future Students | Australian School of Business | UNSW, otherwise, unless you do a major in economics [although since you want to pick up B. Ec that shouldn't be an issue], you...

You could do some 2nd/3rd year management courses because a few don't have pre-requisites. Perhaps the ones the liberal studies students have to do? It should just be essays.

    What you hate about UNSW

Crazy bus line today. There were about 3 buses at a time..isn't it enough? Maybe its possible to have gotten onto the bus from the tunnel on the george st side. Could theoretically skip the queue AND dipping. Just pretend to be part of the mob. http://digitalskies.net/art3/2009/03/whoaline.jpg

    First year elective: Info systems

I've heard it was easy to get distinctions and high distinctions in this subject...which is probably why I'll be doing it this semester to boost my WAM. However it is rather basic. There wouldn't be a lot of maths in it, and I believe last year they used a book on Microsoft Access. It will...

    Easiest subject: LEGT2741, ACCT3563 (3a / issues) or ACCT3708 (3b / auditing)

Auditing isn't 3b but auditing is supposed to be easier than the rest of accounting.

    Laptops for Uni

Re: How helpful is a laptop at university? Battery life is awesome (about 6-8 hours sometimes) but graphics card is shit. Rather, there's only integrated. But it's enough for uni unless you're doing some type of 3d modelling or the like.

    Laptops for Uni

Re: How helpful is a laptop at university? I have a tablet pc. It's a T4220. Bought it from the usa for rather cheap considering the exchange rate. Most tablet pcs are 12.1" and fairly light. The compromise is power though =(
