Writing is so FRICKEN fantastic. Most fun uni couse ever. For one, everyone who wants to do it tends to be interesting, so you will never be bored in class. But then the lecturers are so fun (especially Shady and Damian), and the work is good. but best of ALL is that there arent any exams...

    Creative writing, Please help!

Depends on who you get. Mainly they ask about what you read, how you went at hgih school, what you want to get out of the course. My interview was with Hawkie, and we talked for ages about what the theory course is like. It was kind of fun. Whatever you do, don't stress. They can smell fear...

    Bride Stripped Bare - Anon.

I really liked it. May have been a little heavy on the sex, but hey, it worked. And as a piece of trivia, did you know the author went to Mount Keira High? Can't remember her name, but she did a talk at the Wollongong Library last year.

    Most screwed up book ever...

Basically, the main character (who narrates it) isn't born until chapter 7. Then there are huge digressions concerning the passing of narrative time, hobby horses and the influence of classic texts. And lastly there are black pages, marble pages, diagrams illustrating the plot, foreords in...

    OMG They're back!

I have to admit that I am a fan. So tragic. It's something to with trashy pop and nostalgic tendencies. (please don't hate me...)

    Most screwed up book ever...

Just wondering if anyone knows of a book more screwed up than 'The Life and Oppions of Tristram Shandy' By Sterne. I had to read it for Uni, and hope to god that it's the worst out there.

    Chronicles of narnia

I'm a little worried too. C S Lewis is not something to mess with. And these Hollywood book adaptions usually suck balls, ie Cold Mountain. Though 'Series of unfortuante events' kicked the books butt. Anyone know who is producing the Lion the witch and the wardrobe?
