Well, it's rare they start from the other end, but here it is... =p
It doesn't make much difference, because you can check for vacancies and change your timetable a fair bit even after the semester commences, which is what I did last year.

hehe, every so often they start from the other way round. But in most years it alphabetical from the front. Last year, the day time Computing times were all taken up... but it didn't matter in the end, with some persistence.

actually two places appeared... when i checked for, i think, the third time. i was about to put in a complaint... but didn't have to, or actually did, because the lecturer in charge was off somewhere (smoking?)
