How exactly does the idea of racialization deconstruct the humanist notion of race as biologically determined, and what might the political importance of such an undertaking be?

This last part "political" is fucking shitting me, i presumed it meant "political" as in the normal meaning that everyone knows, but my tutor told me it was political in the sence of relations...now im totally confused, because i can say it does it in that sense, but the wording of that question can be taken either way :S
