I prefer my twist (and it's just as valid, too). You'd never see someone of the Liberal party behave in such a manner. Depsite how much we dislike the ALP, we never go as far as to abuse their family or make plans to kill them, seeing as though they are more than capable of acting in such a manner themselves. The whole culture fo the Labor Party disgusts me, the way everyone ingratiates themselves to the nearest high-ranking party official, lavishing them in praise in the hope of recognition and favour.

Haha so says the man who became Premier as a result of the politicking of the ever so honourable and wholesome NSW ALP right faction.[Mr Iemma] says if any Government MPs are involved in similar behaviour they will feel the consequences of their actions.

It was broken by The Australian's Glen Milne who was informed of it by a senior Liberal Party member.braindrainedAsh said:LOL so funny. And today, considering our topic in journalism studies was about the relationship between journalists and their sources, it was the perfect example for us.
Does anyone find it curious that the story only broke now, considering different journalists from different papers would have known about it and this happened about a month ago, and normally they would be fighting with each other to get the story out first? I think that there is a lot more behind this story- it seems like games have been played with the politics or the media to keep this story quiet for the past few weeks, and something has happened which has compelled the tele and the SMH to act on this and publish it today. I am sure more will come out about this... and I have a feeling that is why he resigned. I think this is only the tip of the iceberg of this story, because was this behavior really bad enough to force him to resign without even thinking about it or hanging around to see what the fallout would be in the next few days. For all he knows, there could be another terrorist attack or something and the media will forget about this story tomorrow.
There is more to this story, you can tell by his reaction, and by the odd way the press withheld the story and have now decided to publish.
