General advice is to write about something you're passionate about and have first hand experience of. For me that's the hate of english so whenever possible with the prompts, I write some extended metaphor about hating english.
That’s what I do but then my teacher says not to write about it. I wrote about my crash outs over my exams and she told me to not write about it. And then when I write about other first hand experiences none of the teachers like them. But when I write smth fictional then they like it more even tho they always say to write from experience
It's gotta be abstract, like one mod c prompt was "write from a unique perspective", so i wrote from the perspective of my pen in an english exam
