me too i thought i would get at least 85 atar but i realised i can't master a subject in one day before an exam
js bc you’re doing shit in one subject it doesn’t mean you’re going to do terrible overall.. like all my subjects are in the 90s and 80s but one is I’m the 60s and I’m still predicted a 90 from my school BUT after that English exam lmaooooooo. I haven’t studied since maybe I shouldn’t sacrifice 2 years of hard work over 2 weeks but idk it’s so draining ugh

You shouldn't be basing your performance off of marks, since it's your rank that matters. If you're highly ranked at your school it'll be a bigger indication on your peformance (If you're a high rank but barely trying then thats more of a concern rather then a boon)

parm bro since u do engineering in unsw, do you reckon me with barely any year 12 phys experience can do biomed engineering in unsw?
youll be expected to have HSC physics level knowledge, so you will probably have to self-research. mainly kinematics, torque, dynamics. they might offer a bridging course but it will be very fast paced

most my ranks are only slightly above the middle of the cohort (i ranked rlly high first two terms then i got into a very bad slump) im not concerned ab how well i do compared to others but i rlly need to maintain my early entry offer hence y im so fixed on the 70 atar

tbf i thought i was very bad at phys but i wasnt (i got 17/40 in my prac first term which kinda ruined my morale so i dropped it, but based on cohort performance i couldve come back easy) i reckon i can go through bridging course. But only problem for biomed is i need chem and bio knowledge which i dont have

Look up your school on HSC ninja and check the amount of band 6's over the past few years in your subject compared to your rank. It'll give you a good indicator of your peformance + your school rank in the HSC

the first year physics is tricky, thermodynamics basics + harmonic motion make it a very high fail rate course (phys1121/1131) so be warned
