parm bro since u do engineering in unsw, do you reckon me with barely any year 12 phys experience can do biomed engineering in unsw?yes accept all offers but only enrol if u wanna do the degree
I was kinda praying I’d get like at least 80 without studying but that might be delusionu better not be lying cus i dont want to get <70 atar alone![]()
me too i thought i would get at least 85 atar but i realised i can't master a subject in one day before an examI was kinda praying I’d get like at least 80 without studying but that might be delusion
lowkey bos might be the reason my atar burnsits ok if you have more than 50 messages on bos youre not gonna get below a 70
js bc you’re doing shit in one subject it doesn’t mean you’re going to do terrible overall.. like all my subjects are in the 90s and 80s but one is I’m the 60s and I’m still predicted a 90 from my school BUT after that English exam lmaooooooo. I haven’t studied since maybe I shouldn’t sacrifice 2 years of hard work over 2 weeks but idk it’s so draining ughme too i thought i would get at least 85 atar but i realised i can't master a subject in one day before an exam
bruh relax just preform your best in your next exams
If you don't sit all your HSC exams or you don't have any IMA from Nesa it can be revoked
ur doing well im sure ur gonna get above 85 for atar with those scoresjs bc you’re doing shit in one subject it doesn’t mean you’re going to do terrible overall.. like all my subjects are in the 90s and 80s but one is I’m the 60s and I’m still predicted a 90 from my school BUT after that English exam lmaooooooo. youll be expected to have HSC physics level knowledge, so you will probably have to self-research. mainly kinematics, torque, dynamics. they might offer a bridging course but it will be very fast pacedparm bro since u do engineering in unsw, do you reckon me with barely any year 12 phys experience can do biomed engineering in unsw?
most my ranks are only slightly above the middle of the cohort (i ranked rlly high first two terms then i got into a very bad slump) im not concerned ab how well i do compared to others but i rlly need to maintain my early entry offer hence y im so fixed on the 70 atarYou shouldn't be basing your performance off of marks, since it's your rank that matters. If you're highly ranked at your school it'll be a bigger indication on your peformance (If you're a high rank but barely trying then thats more of a concern rather then a boon)
Me and my rank 50 something in English cryingYou shouldn't be basing your performance off of marks, since it's your rank that matters. tbf i thought i was very bad at phys but i wasnt (i got 17/40 in my prac first term which kinda ruined my morale so i dropped it, but based on cohort performance i couldve come back easy) i reckon i can go through bridging course. But only problem for biomed is i need chem and bio knowledge which i dont haveyoull be expected to have HSC physics level knowledge, so you will probably have to self-research. mainly kinematics, torque, dynamics. they might offer a bridging course but it will be very fast paced

Look up your school on HSC ninja and check the amount of band 6's over the past few years in your subject compared to your rank. It'll give you a good indicator of your peformance + your school rank in the HSCMe and my rank 50 something in English crying
the first year physics is tricky, thermodynamics basics + harmonic motion make it a very high fail rate course (phys1121/1131) so be warnedtbf i thought i was very bad at phys but i wasnt (i got 17/40 in my prac first term which kinda ruined my morale so i dropped it, but based on cohort performance i couldve come back easy) i reckon i can go through bridging course. Since we're on the topic of bridging courses, if i wanted to do commerce unsw said i need to do a bridging course for math advanced (i never did math in senior years and i absolutely was dog at it in juniour years) is this my sign to ditch commerceyoull be expected to have HSC physics level knowledge, so you will probably have to self-research. mainly kinematics, torque, dynamics. they might offer a bridging course but it will be very fast paced
Nah I talked to the people on open day and they said it’s a lie u don’t need it unless ur majoring in like accounting or financeSince we're on the topic of bridging courses, if i wanted to do commerce unsw said i need to do a bridging course for math advanced (i never did math in senior years and i absolutely was dog at it in juniour years) is this my sign to ditch commerce
alr but like the other key business functions are bland and boringNah I talked to the people on open day and they said it’s a lie u don’t need it unless ur majoring in like accounting or finance
