yeah the thing is I don't have time cause they were like u need to make this decision soon and don't wait to drop cause they have evidence that the sooner u drop the better u do.

But isn’t the assignment for std and adv different? And hence you can’t utilise the result in adv to calculate your std score?

girl u smart asf cuz ppl in my cohort who dropped from adv to std just failed every assessment and ended up dropping maths completely

yeah they just use your standard internals. so my entire internal mark is a 98 (from trials) and bcs of that im ranked like 2nd in the standard cohort bcs i did one exam lmao. its lowkey kinda fucked i feel bad for the kids who worked hard all yr

see but a lot of ppl think that if u drop u dont need to study cause its objectively easier (thats what happened to alot of other ppl who dropped). but standard has different topics and the wording tries to trip u up so u do still need to put some effort in (obvi not as much as e1 or adv but u still have to try)
