We tried! I also feel like I've learned nothing though
I feel that way for basically the whole of yr 11 :spzz:. like what had i been doing for the whole year?; I'm more disappointed with myself as it went so quickly and to 'waste'. And now I'm trying to fix all those bad procrastination and study habits

Ohh my bio teacher did a degree in sport science I think, and he taught at a sports school for a long time but somehow made it to our school... out of a stroke of luck?? He's a pretty chill guy, just not incredibly skilled in bio.

It makes sense that your teacher did a double degree because a lot of people who do science degrees end up going into teaching. As a school alumni though, that's really cool because they know the school well and maybe you can get some inside info from them lol
aw thats good hes a moderately decent?? teacher for the topic i guess you could also collaborate with people from the other classes if youre friends with any of them and they dont mind being cushy with notes/resources if it does differ

i suppose people who do sciences do end up going into education cause the head of science here did a whole bunch of chem/physics and other exciting jobs before settling into teaching at multiple schools prior to mine but all i can really say is that this one has pretty high expectations for presumed knowledge and independency and if that doesnt work out half of the lesson is them going on about how "you should already know this" "even the juniors know more than you guys" and just like that doesnt make the class any more productive or helpful to learning lol i think the teaching style requires you to work harder in your own time (which is valid) but other than that its just a personality issue that may be justified from their experiences since they always talk about how they couldve done x and x instead of take up teaching if they wanted more money but also theyre interested in education which is why they chose to pursue it in the end

i did find it funny when they said that if they were really only looking forward to making the most amount of money after hs they wouldve done tafe/picked up a trade job doing construction and selling real estate + the sort instead of university/scholarships and whatever

dangg but science isn't a great career here in Aus so I don't think he should he boasting about how he could be somewhere else
reminds me of my eco teacher who keeps boasting that he's earning lots on the stock market and could quit his job at any point but is just here "because he wants to" lmao

How many units are u on?
on 11 units so pretty much the only course I can drop is eng ext 2 (or math ext 1 but i'm doing well) so i have to just power on  teacher did say that the collision theory stuff explaining equilibrium shifts gets a bit tricky so i won't give up hope yet

what r u finding hard? I think complex numbers is fairly alright (unless uve started proofs)
Brother why is my skl the only one that started with proofs and not complex n's for ext 2. We started with combinatorics aswell for year 11 ext 1. They tryna get us to leave or sum
