YessssOoh. Did u make a grad vlog
stop thats so annoying! i so want to get a state rank in any one of my subjects and one of my teachers literally told me that he thinks i can get a state rankDreams of state ranking in history extension went out the window for me at graduation
I came rank 1 in the trials but my major work ranked a bit lower so I was really hoping that our school was gonna give first in course to the person who came rank 1 in the trials but it makes sense why they didn't so idrk why im complaining lmao
Yes, my friend was rank 2 in ancient and state-ranked (it was a pretty high SR too)just a random question yall, if im rank 2 in my cohort for a subject, is it possible to state rank or should i scrap my state rank dreams
For bio I think it's possible to SR with a 97 HSC mark, which should be around a 93 raw mark? It seems a bit low though, so take that with a grain of saltwhat raw mark would you need to state rank in pdhpe, legal studies and bio?
no way a 93 raw is a SR that sounds INSANE broFor bio I think it's possible to SR with a 97 HSC mark, which should be around a 93 raw mark? It seems a bit low though, so take that with a grain of salt
Well I know that a 97 HSC mark is a SR, and from the raw marks data (which is quite outdated), that corresponds to a 92-94 raw. Blame the HSC bio markers, I swear they're out for usno way a 93 raw is a SR that sounds INSANE bro
it does make me curious for other subjects though
theres no way a raw of 93 aligns to 97Well I know that a 97 HSC mark is a SR, and from the raw marks data (which is quite outdated), that corresponds to a 92-94 raw. Blame the HSC bio markers, I swear they're out for us![]()
Ah ok I looked at it the other way and found what raw mark corresponded to the 97 HSC mark, but those were from 2014/2016 so it must no longer be the case. That'd make more sense loltheres no way a raw of 93 aligns to 97
i just checked and a raw of 93 last year aligned to a 94
and im pretty sure the “97 hsc mark for a sr” doesnt apply for all subjects. For math, eng and sci subjects its def higher
How close are you to rank ?Like are you rank 2 by a difference of 1 mark per instance? I recall from 2023, the guy who got 1st in English Advanced ranked 3rd internally at NSB. I'm assuming there was not much of a difference betwen the ranks' respective distances. All this to say, is that rank is less important than rank distance. If at X high school, the difference between rank 1 and rank 200 (bottom rank) was 10 marks, and anyone within the cohort gets 100/100 in the external exam, all ranks 1-200 will get an assessment mark somewhere between 90 and 100 (you keep your exam mark).just a random question yall, if im rank 2 in my cohort for a subject, is it possible to state rank or should i scrap my state rank dreams
HEYYYYYYYYYYYYHey guys im BACK
I think it also depends on how well the ranks above you perform. If rank 1 gets a 98 and you get 99, then you can still SR, but if rank 1 gets a 90 (exaggerated) then maybe not? Just theorising thoughHow close are you to rank ?Like are you rank 2 by a difference of 1 mark per instance? I recall from 2023, the guy who got 1st in English Advanced ranked 3rd internally at NSB.
