is unsw really that much better than usyd for eng to warrant suffering the long commute, trimesters and cooked schedules?

what's wrong with trimesters? u get to focus on less courses per term and finish them faster
and from central unsw and usyd take the same time to get to but for unsw u get to chill on a light rail!!

theres some people who live in absolute shit suburbs with no public transport (trains or bus lanes). im wondering why those suburbs were ever built at all and how those shit suburbs have such high prices
