do the markers mark harshly or not? and how do you know this?
they are pretty unpredictable

for the trials i had a hsc marker for advance, ext 1 and ext 2 mark one of my english modules

he gave me full marks for frankenblade but i thought it was pretty terrible

but because i answered the question and kept it running through he knew that i didnt use a pre-planned response like the rest of my grade

it just depends what markers u get
some are obviously easier than others

thats why english is about 40% luck

same here, i really have no idea what my marks will be because of the difference between my school and the whole state, ya know?

I got 97/105 in trials, so I'm guessing something similar

But honestly you never know. I might have completely fucked up a question

My friend is probably going to get very similar and he does Standard, but he spent so much time on English and will probably fail his other subjects.

I'd be cheering for an aligned mark of 95. I think I'll need 90/105 minimum to get an aligned mark of that sort.
