This is a good subject only if you have a good teacher.

I will see if I have any papers on me :)

It's been a while though.

EDIT: Damn, can't find them on my old laptop or my hard drive....

Wow awesome! :) You're definitely on track to achieving that!

I'm currently 5th! Aiming for a high band 5!

If you don't mind me asking, what options are you doing?
Thanks! :)

Sports med and Improving performance.

Trial is a week and a half away..

Most people finished the course already?

Do you think this is the only subject which is fully relevant to real life?

But don't you only statistics for Core 1? And definitely agree to achieve full marks in higher marked questions e.g. analyse and explain, examples are critical and necessary

Everyone finish the course before trials? Or did your school leave an option out?

We finished our last option (Improving performance) last week so will have the full course in our trial next week

Yeah it is still 3 hours! The core section consists of 60 marks, mc 20 and option (sports med) 20!

I have been taught both by my teacher but I prefer using equity, diversity and supportive environments! This is as it is easier to relate it to issues and the action areas if I have to! That is just my opinion though as I think it is pretty easy compared to the PEAR approach

Im not sure if this is true but apparently we don't have to know the statistics but just the trends! Is this true?

Guys just wanted to ask something. You know with the social justice principles? Do you refer to them in terms of
•PARTICIPATION
• Equity
• Access
• Rights
Or do you just use the general three:
• Equity
• Diversity
• Supportive environments
I've noticed a lot of the SA sample answers use 'PEAR'.

Thanks!

I refer to them as supportive environments, equity, diversity. Partipation, access and rights is in the older text books however schools still refer to this. In reality for a 10 mark question you would not have room to include all of them especially when looking at the Ottawa charter and social justice principles together.

This is correct. Trends is a must for CVD, cancer and other. As well as ATSI and other.
Statistics makes a response stronger.
