Of course! I had more than one ruler with me though, so it took half the time!

depends how much i love them

if i love them so much that its unconditional love and i see them as a very important part of my life. id go to perth. only coz i have teh money to burn i guess. if i didnt i would prostitute myself then get the money and go  fuck seeing as i have the money to burn i would go to US (i get a holiday too  everyone wins)

just upsetting that the person would probably view the trip as being motivated by alterior motives which is an extremely unfair and hurtful, and untrue misinterpretation. k im a bit tipsy im going to shut up. now.

i think the long distance thing works in your favour at the beggining. Its scaring the crap out of me that the guy I'm interested in can just pop over whenever he feels like it. Mainly because I'm terrified anyway, but yeah

It makes you put in some effort to see each other, rather than just having someone convenient around. That being said, it sucks dick later in the relationship when you just want someone to eat ice-cream and watch TV with, and you have to travel an hour or so to do that.

i think its more how much time you have and the money and patience.
when me and my ex were going out we saw each other about... a week each holidays. coz his cousin lives out here in sydney and he'd come and visit. so it was ok but it wasnt easy.

Long distance relationships are a stupid waste of time. More than 2 hours is just too long and I would never do it under any circumstances.

that's actually a pretty good way to sum it up...if it's accessible by public transport, i'll go there, even if it's a fairly long distance...if it's some obscure town in the middle of woop woop that you can only get to with sherpas and a compass, then fuck no (an exaggeration but you know what i mean). but as long as you live within reach of some kind of public transport it's OK by me. i don't drive so places without transport are no-go.

like would you still go ahead with the relationship or living up to the expectation even though that there are literally thousands of kilometres between you two?

Would you fly all the way to see him/her?
My friend had a boyfriend that lived in france while she was in australia, it didnt work out (i wonder why), its a shame cause they got along so wel.. i no i couldnt do the long distance thin tho
