i can tell you that the leather trimming willbecome very tacky over the years, plus most of the time it is not even leather, it's actually vinyl/polyester/pleather

Just sent over $500 on clothes for winter :) but only because i was in Melbourne for the weekend and they have amazing clothes down there.

I'd say per year, I spend about just over $1500 on clothes. I really like clothes though, so it is kind of justified :p

I really don't understand how people can buy only a couple fo things each year, I'd feel weird if i wore the same outfit 100/365 days of the year.

scaredytiger consider that normal guys clothes of decent quality cost about double ladies. Seriously, if you can find a good looking pair of jeans for <$150 I'd be surprised. Not to mention a nice shirt is $70+.

That said I spend about $1000-2000 a year on clothes maybe.

I spent $120 today.. shoes ><
but I only go shopping maybe 2-3 times a year, and I don't usually spend this much.. so maybe $15-20ish a month? [but it's so much easier to spend other people's money :p]
You're from Ruse, of course you only go out 2-3 times a YEAR!

January-February was around $100-200 (during sales times)....and my next spree is July/august (tax time n other expenses yay!!)...i'm more focused on basics and colors that suit my skin type (i.e i am looking for strong, intense colors in my wardrobe)...but i shop at supre for the basics (as i prefer their fit, style and colors), and will definitely be heading back there in july...most likely in the city or my local area...im not into second hand clothing, so thats a definite out for me!

in between, i'll buy only things on sale...recently i bought a skirt (high waist with the zipper at back)..that will probably be it until July...and a couple of opaques!!

Important stuff to get next: Black denim (i seriously don't have any, gonna look into jeanswest or myer), undergarments, as well as some shoes that i can wear both to class and work...looking into wedge styles, and also some new asics so thus ill be spending big in those area!!!

It depends on what you value.

As vapid as it makes me sound, aesthetics are very important to me and being well-dressed and well-presented is something I want other people to notice in me.

It does also tend to give a favourable impression and earn you more respect (which is pretty sad, really, but it's a fact of life).

Not that I think you have to buy super expensive brand-name trend items (I am no Shane Lively) - I tend to buy most of my clothing in sales and at op-shops. I have a lot, but I do make use of nearly all of it and dressing up gives me a lot of pleasure and is something I enjoy.

I personally find it absurd that some people spend so much money on the latest gadgets and electronics, because that just isn't something that rates very highly on my hierarchy of things that make my life better and me more happy.

Plus I love bringing new life to old clothes. It really gives me a buzz and I'm fucking good at it, if I do say so myself. :p

Too fucking much. It's absolutely ridiculous how much clothing I've bought in the last couple of years.

To my credit, though, I never had any cothes before.

I just bought a flanno from coles for $7, so I guess I'll be going without meat this month.
