Our school didn't have half-yearlies for year 11 either. We however did have a large block of english assessments worth 40% of our final mark.

I don't go to the carnivals either! Actually, on the day of the swimming carnival, I went to the RTA, got my Learner's! :)
I go to the carnivals, just don't do anything in them, just listening to the iPod while they are doing other things. I've been 16 for a while now, but still haven't got my Ls yet.

surf carnivals are pretty sick, hence i live at the northern beaches...
my day was good, handed in my hectic bio assignment.. stupid ecosystem :)
SURF CARNIVALS? omg thats bloody awesome...I would have even given up my captain badge to be able to go to a surf carnival! As soon as I left my old school they began surfing as a sports elective (even though they had to travel to Newy by bus...suckers). It cut me deep.

Oh wow, that sounds awesome Jeniii. We went to a nursing home for Xmas and the old people told us their life stories, it was pretty cool, hmmm, this has nothing to do with what you did, ha.

Gosh, you people leave my m0ofins alone! :ninja:

Hahaha, its something that my school's old principal started a couple of years ago, to try and “promote" the school. I don't think she realised it turned off more people than it turned on. It's pretty much like a normal school week, only during lunch time there's a different activity happening, such as a "bazaar day" or a "sports day"<<which doesnt involve sport at all....

Sports day not involving sport? Seems logical enough ...

I think there's kinda a few sports activites going on then, but most people just use the time as an extended lunch. :D
