oh well ... guess this is just the foundation of what our marks are going to be in the hsc. ... remember. ace the hsc and ace trials = better chance of higher uai

well your rankings didn't suffer too badly ... i guess it was just a hard exam! =/

I got some more back today...

Music - 94% ranked 1st
Chemistry - 85% ranked 1st
Economics - 92% ranked 1st

I need to get physics, maths and english back so hopefully they wont be too bad. I want to definately improve in chem.

Got Chemistry back today....60.5/70. That's around top 10 in the grade with first being 64.5/70 scored by a number of people. Could have done better, but meh can't complain..........
I think I'll be getting Mathematics Extension 1 and Biology tomorrow.....not looking forward to that......eek!
Once I get all my half yearly results back, I have to put up with a careers interview and my school's estimate UAI.....

Business Studies: Rank 1st.
66/72. I missed the exam, so i got this average.

English: Rank 3rd.
AOS Essay = 12/15(highest 13)
Reading = 7/15 God help me.. (highest 13-15?)
Listening Task = 10/15 (highest 13)

Modern History: Rank: nfi
World War One = 16/30(highest 28/30) lol. Not really hard, but i didn't touch WW1.
Germany Essay = 17/25(highest 23/30). Pretty happy as i was practically dying in the exam due to tiredness and thus i put in very little effort. But because of that, i realiesd that if i actually studied for more 1hr before the exam, i can most likely get 80+ in the hsc exam.

At least i know i'm getting there, just need better time management when studying!

All our results have come back today and yesterday, it's good to get marking priority hehe.

English: 25/30, non-counting exam, currently ranked 1/89.
English Ext1: 19/20, non counting exam, currently ranked 3/29.
English Ext2: 19/20, top mark 20/20, currently ranked 1-equal/12.
Maths: 42/51, top mark 43/51 from a 3U, currently ranked 1/63.
Biology: 61.5/70, currently ranked 1/32.
Economics: 58/60 (sexalicious course), currently ranked 1/24.

Only doing 10 units, teachers said it was risky in case I muffed something up. I think it's having the opposite effect and making me word harder so I *don't muff up.

We did a counting speech /15 during the exam period for English, almost certain I'll get 13-14 after hearing our teacher remark today that a lot of people left a certain something out, which sounded a lot like me hehe. Our English grade is cut-throat, so many great writers.

Update .. received my IPT exam.
managed to argue my way from a 79% to an 85% (4 marks. wahaha) : got 63/74 (lost 3 marks from multi choice and 8 marks on the last seection. amazingly, i Bs'd my way 100% correctly trhoughout the all but the last question in the extended response)

in the multiple choice .. gonna see if i can get more marks with some question..
im pretty happy with this result (came first) seeing as i studied the night before .. and yeah.

oh yeah .. my business studies teacher hasn't marked all of the exams yet. but, i don't think im gonna be getting 1st place again! *tears*

Need 96.8 for Psychology.

I don't rate my chances high though, I'm going to a school in the 300's or thereabouts, so there is a good chance our exams and assessments are marked or set to an easier standard than in the schools much of you attend.

by the sounds of things 98% of you are on the right track to score yourselves a nice UAI 90+ and oh how i envy you...

My rankings at this stage are -

Adv Eng = 11th
Maths = 25th ( i know, its shit)
Drama = 1st
Cafs = 2nd
Pe = 5th
Business = 3rd

I know that they arent crash hot...

i just worked out my marks based on all assessments completed and on weightings..... im not too happy

Chemistry- 65% Rank around 10/20
Maths- 65% Rank around 9/20
English- 65% Rank around 45/60
Business- 87% Rank around 5/24
P.E- 78% Rank around 12/40
S.O.R- 90% Rank around 12/80

I better pick up my results... my school's ranked around 100

Yet i am aiming for UAI 85
HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO PICK UP ???
