Omggg I never even thought about this..

But yeah can guarantee there will be a change in either of these (2 related for belonging essay, change in structure of essay or not a story for the creative). And they're all bad.
Nah i think writing a creative will remain. But the other two you mentioned, yes! 2 related texts is annoying because info on your prescribed text is reduced.

I know right. Hopefully.

Btw can anyone confirm if we can use this structure for 2 relateds for belonging?

Intro
Prescribed text para
Related 1
Presribed text para 2
Related 1 second para
Related 2 first and only para
Conclusion

That's a really common structure. Usually people would prepare 1 related because HSC only asks for 1 and 1 backup paragraph for the 2nd related.

bold part! - agreed.

ahh I just hope english doesn't surprise us with a changed structure (a speech or something). although speeches aren't too difficult, however takes one out of their comfort zone

Why the shit do you have two belonging. It is already a pain to have one :(. Change your sentence to 8 more days till HSC Is complete.

That's what I usually do?

I structure it:
Intro
Prescribed para 1
RT 1 para
Prescribed para 2
RT 2 para
Prescribed para 3
Conclusion

Should we normally I'd do two paragraphs on my related text, but if they ask for two then I omit one and replace it with a paragraph on the other text... Should I be leaving it in?

We need 2 though. Prepare for it just incase, because there haven't asked for 2 relateds in all the years that belonging was tested so it may be a possibility this year.

Prescribed para 1
RT 1 para
Prescribed para 2
RT 2 para
Prescribed para 3

That's what I thought, but I would stick to the structure I stated above. Always give more than less, because like you have a second paragraph prepared anyway so may as well use it, if you have enough time though.

Is everyone regurgitating a creative writing and then chucking a few words here and there in their story to answer the question OR

do people have creative writings (700 words long) like me, where new paragraphs and blah blah are added on the day to answer the question.

I feel as though option 1 would not get a student high marks because markers are able to know that they are bsing and just chucking random words around, whereas option 2, if you place paragraphs and blah blah answering the question, the student is showing the marker full comprehension of the question and the ability to answer it properly.

Option 1 or 2 guys?

Personally I'm doing 2, but I know some people doing the first because they're too good and their creative is easily tweaked.

First creative writing task of the year i got 10/15 using the second option but with option one in the trials i got 14/15, so i'm sticking with option one!

Yeah, i just don't want to risk regurgitating a story that doesn't answer the question. Head Teacher at my school told me that anyone who doesn't answer the question or use the stimulus as a central idea/theme then they would immediately put themselves in the C, possibly D range regardless of how good the creative might be.

Option 1 despite getting 12/15 with option 2 in trials with the same creative. Because in option 2 I though in trials i got killed but I still got more than Mod B

I'll be writing out a creative plan beforehand (probably should do it already) such as characters, setting, basic storyline etc, then I'll write it on the day based on the stimulus
oh wow,

btw will email back shortly but in the meantime send through that essay you want me to take a look at.
