Correct reaction is no reaction, because mundane events deserve no reaction.

Either this, or you say something like "Oh, I usually just do hugs." jokingly or something. Gosh.

Well yeah, I kind of understand the female mind a bit more than most straight guys since like 80% of my close friends are female.

Most girls are more straightforward than you'd think...

And as for me, I'm always sweating like it's 35 deg when it's only 15C, and no person (girls included) would like to touch that. But honestly, I don't think it's THAT bad... Why is it even a big deal?

To be honest, if it's a good friend then I don't really mind. But yeah it's a bit weird when girls that you don't know act like that. But just go along with it and you should be fine...

I dont have a "reaction"

because unlike you, getting kissed by a girl (on the check no less) stopped being a life-changing event after i was 14

I remember the first time a girl hugged me

It was Year 8, and this moderately attractive blonde class mate of mine ran up to me and gave me a hug for some reason I forgot

And I stood there in silence with no idea what to do or say

but now, due to constant practice and a little more experience, i can pull off 95% of hugs without awkwardness - though sometimes i put on awkwardness so it's not like "am i actually hugging shadowdude? or someone that looks like him"
