i for one care about the people in london, i was worried as shit all evening as my sister is currently living there and catches the tube to work every day. Since the mobile phone network was so strained we couldn't get in touch with her until about 9pm, two whole hours after the event was officially reported

Yes I and everyone on here realises that innocents get killed in iraq, africa, and any other war torn and 3rd world nation you wish to mention, but for christ sake shut the fuck up and keep your socialist views to yourself for the time being

I think the main problem with all these terrorist attacks is that the west doesn't really know how to deal with them, they don't know how to....relate to them I guess, there's no way they can put themselves in their shoes and...the American view of the situation is just...American-centric (it's not Eurocentric, it's even worse than Eurocentric) and...a lot of the terrorists capitalise on this American ignorance.

I can understand the logic behind it, and I have myself wondering If Australia was attacked, would I retaliate? and the answer is yes, I feel I would defend my country. But the fact of the matter is, I can not sympathise with people who target innocent civilians, simply because they exist. I've never condoned terrorisim, but I could understand them to a certain extent - but the moment they indisciminantly murder innocents, any kind of understanding I have is extingised. Thats the main difference between the IRA and muslim extremists/fundamentalists imo.



Oh god...Bush is on. Shot him. Or shot me. He jumps on terrorist attacks like a fat kid does to chocolate. He sickens me sometimes.
