UWS. Gosh.

Also, USYD MedSc Semester Two:

WOT?!

6-7 hours a week and then another subject (you could do one with like 2 contact hours)

No wonder everyone fails, they would do nothing before the final exams. lol

That is not the BMED timetable, and you should wait until next February when timetables come out before you start putting it together. None of that information is set in stone yet.

BMED is strange. My sister just graduated and her second semester timetable had ~14 hours while still taking 24 credit points.

Phew, just need to write out the discussion and I'm finished with the report.

At least I got to make this baby (I think):

So, apparently I was never properly enrolled in CHNG1103 because the unit coordinator wrote CHEM1103 instead of CHNG1103 on my application form. According to the student administration staff it's too late to do anything at this point. Obviously I'm still going to try, but if they don't count the subject I'm applying at UNSW/ANU.

This isn't the sole reason why I want to transfer, but it's definitely going to make the choice easier.
what the fuck? What stupid heads!
Can't they just write a letter in saying "we made a fucking whoopsie but this guy has done 50% of the coursework and shit"

No wonder no one fucking respects engineering at USyd! Because none of the fucking people running it have half an idea of what they're doing.

(P.S. if you aren't doing the final can I buy your textbook? (lol, so insensitive))

Just wondering if anyone knows, with subjects that don't have final exams, do their final course marks get released on myuni earlier than other subjects i.e. the ones that do have exams? if so, usually how early?

Also, I just realised, how many of us will be moving into a different degree (or something) or uni next year? Like a lot?

Obvious - wants to transfer
OzKO - doing honours (also, I just realised he quit. Wtf?!)
Jet - starting med
Trebla - is going out into the world (omg, wot? like a normal, contributing member of society?!)
I - want to transfer (but let's not get our hopes up)

It's just weird how things change so fast.
Fuckan uni.
I guess we're not in Kansas anymore.

(This is the result of watching 3 seasons of digimon and staying up late to pretend to study during stuvac, if I do better than last semester it won't be because I worked harder. lol)

Reading back through this thread instead of studying...

How are you finding MBLG? I just finished learning the course (~3 days, there goes half my stuvac). I really hope they don't put too much emphasis on the tutorial material. It literally adds another ~3-4 lectures worth of anecdotal garbage.

The MBLG exam is more about principals rather than knowledge. Obviously you need to know about the system to talk about the principals but you don't e.g. need to know the name and innate function of every single initiation factor in translation.

What's that?

I should be good. I just need to BS for 112/180 (why is it out of so many marks?!) for a credit and 142/180 for a distinction.

********* Gryffindor's cardinal traits are bravery, pride, stubbornness and impulsiveness. Most people in the house of Gryffindor will be extroverted. (Remember, introversion is different than being shy: you can be a shy extrovert.) Gryffindors gain energy and life by being around people, grain strength from friends and enjoy working with those close to them. However, they are also emotionally volatile and can experience a wide range of feelings in a short amount of time, from unbridled happiness to deep depression to unrestrained rage. They are less emotionally stable than some of the other houses (such as Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff); Gryffindors are also impulsive. They're also generally good-hearted and trusting, and for the most part like people at first sight unless they are given a reason not to. Gryffindors are Prideful, bad at taking criticism and easilyget into conflicts with others—this is the main trait that would bring their overall level of agreeableness from high to average.

********* A Gryffindor's prideful nature coupled with their sense of justice and stubborn behavior causes them to be extremely set in their ways. They have a difficult time backing down from a fight or admitting that they are wrong. It's also very hard for them to get over a bad first impression or change their opinion on someone.

Take The Sorting Hat: A Comprehensive Harry Potter Personality Assessment [Test/Quiz] at HelloQuizzy

There is something to be said for the proper use of caution. (To be a Slytherin, you must be wiser as to when to and when not to use the Dark Arts.) No worries, though. Gryffindor House will teach you to curb your reckless disregard for danger and to make wise choices about bravery. Congratulations!

Take The Sorting Hat of Harry Potter Test at HelloQuizzy

Your result for The Sorting Hat Test...

Gryffinclaw!

You scored 12% Slytherin, 48% Ravenclaw, 52% Gryffindor, and 28% Hufflepuff!

You might belong in Gryffindor,
In this instance, it would be prudent for you to make your own decision between the two! Dear citizen, thank you for participating in this data mining operation.

TOR --> Got Slytherin, guess we can't be friends anymore.
I usually (used to) get Ravenclaw on every single test I did, I don't know what happened. :(

(You must be a fucking evil cunt. (My friend Jess is in slytherin, do you know her?))
