Lol same. I leave my MSN, BOS, and fb on while I study, and it works . But I tend to forget about it once I'm 100% focused.

but if you are option 3 person, you hardly study...until the exam is on tomorrow

Yeah, and that reflects on my inconsistent results I've achieved so far. (Did well Term 4, screwed up Term 1, due to the increase in workload and late night cramming sessions).

What should I do??

think of the smartest person you know of (if it someone from BoS then *sigh*)

then think: did they become smart by learning about thier field through rigorous study? or did they go around and moan to thier friends about how they were unmotivated?

1. turn off your computer as soon as you see my post
2. get rid of other distractions
3. JUST DO IT

OR

1. Procrastinate more to the extent where you feel really really guilty
2. You will be on your way to study like hell

OR

1. Leave up to the last minute.
2. You will find that you are pulling an all nighter out of nowhere

Im def option 3 person, except nowadays im getting use to pulling out all-nighters all the time though it gets enjoyable after a while

Don't daydream when you're studying. Actually do work.

Basically stuyding effectively = working smart.

Make a weekly "study timetable" and/or daily To Do list ... and stick to it!

However, this is easier said than done.

my workayoff ratio is probably (4 hours of my time)= (1 hour of James Ruse guy's time)

well i was more talking about the bigger picture: that is, try to work on your weaker subjects since the gains you get there would benefit you more overall
