YES, somebody got the quote! (L)

Watch out for the emo-ness that jumps out again in 6/7. I only liked 7 because it was the slightly dark, emo volume that I was expecting.

DON'T watch the movies though. For the love of God, don't.

Yes, because your maths results won't count at all
LOL, you can get decent marks in maths and still not get above the cutoff for law at sydney/unsw. Contrary to what most asian parents believe, maths is not the only subject (although i'd be so much better off if it was the only one that mattered)

on the topic of hp

the emo-ness (ok... great demonstration of my english skills) jumps out from book 5, which is mainly typed up in capitals.

there's nothing wrong with the movies because they have alan rickman in them :D

man, i'm going to fail extension english. :mad1:

3U Eng sucks arse because I'm so apathetic that I don't want to do the exam.

But we can pass! :D

... eh.

Yeah, true @ the HP5 thing, but there's the emo crap with Harry's wistful breakup with Ginny. Oh the poor twit. *shanks him*

Thats a bit harsh. Shanking him. Lol. I thought book 7 was a bit of a let down after the first read, I want to see if it improves upon the second. Its like, quick, throw as many absolute flukes and weird plot devices into it as possible, and it'll come out good, I swear. And yes, emo-ness, ftw. My sister loves the movies, and every time I see them I think, wtf? wreck a pretty decent series of books much? Moneygrubbers. Lol they're making a HP theme park... that'll work.

book 7 plays out like a film script rather than a novel. My opinion anyway.

the movies aren't so bad... you just have to fast forward most of them and watch Snape :D

That's exactly what I thought after reading it the first time. The last battle is gonna be pretty awesome on film, just for the scale.

yeah, when i read the last book, you could tell JK rowling was picturing how things would look on the big screen.

i think books 5-7 will work well on film.

The last battle sucked arse in the book.

All it was, was Harry prancing around going "I know something you don't know!" and Voldie going "... YOU ... DARE ... !"

Ugh. It was so understated.

My original aim of a UAI of 90... dropped straight down to 85, then 80... then 75... and now I feel that a 70 seems like a miracle. T___T
