does anyone have hast resources papers or advice I can have

Yall got any tips for what skls I can apply to for year 10 entry as someone tryna transfer?

My portfolio:
- Played soccer and won the comp
- Referee for soccer
- Played grade squash
- Part of school panorama team
- 100% attendance for year 9 semester 1 (idk if that is an exc but whatever)
- Represented the school for chess comp
- In my current school’s gifted program (top class for every subject)
- Top bands in naplan
- Top bands in valid science 8
- Didn’t participate in the math comps that the school offered so I may be slightly cooked

My reports:
Year 8 semester 1: 4A (Japanese, Eng, sci, visual arts) 4B (pdh, tech, geo, math)
year 8 semester 2: 6A (math, eng, sci, visual arts, japanese, tech) 1B (geo) 1C (pdh)
Year 9 semester 1 (this is a prediction but this is what I think im gonna get): 8A (math, Eng, sci, commerce, food tech, pass, pdh, history) yes straight As ikr

I don’t know what schools I should be applying for or looking towards but im thinking Girraween, Penrith, sydney tech, maybe even normanhurst idk. If anyone wants to help or even discuss anything with me id be happy to and maybe we can help each other out

def apply for girra as they open a new class... im pretty sure penrith opens like 15 seats.... and you can try for one of the edutest schools if you do pretty good in edutest

Thing is tho i heard some really mixed reviews on both Penrith and Girraween. Cause in year 11 im tryna pick physics, chem, bio, math extension 1, English advanced, and maybe an extra random subject but i heard they have a selection process for those classes and don’t automatically let u in. I don’t know if it’s true but some people say they love those schools and others hate it

Other than that im alright with the edutest (not good not bad) and mediocre with the hast. I’ve been thinking about normanhurst for a while but they don’t open a new class until year 11 so if i were to get into a mid tier school like Penrith or girra id most likely stay there for the remainder of my schooling life rather than move to normo in year 11. That’s why im sorta thinking if I should just only apply for top tier schools and if I don’t make it just stay in my school for one more year and then finally apply for a high tier school

I personally prefer resources over tutoring cause I can self learn much faster with AI but im just wondering, do you think girra is good and do they let u choose ur y11 subjects freely cause I remember u said u got in

I have extracurriculars and sports, but if anyone could tell me some info that would really help. And i hate the atmosphere at partial selectives. Like I remember maybe 100 kids trying for girra year 10 entry and then 150 kids trying for girra year 8 entry and I think they only had like 2 spots. No schools open new classes for year 8 entry so you’ll only get in if someone else leaves the school which is pretty rare. Ngl unless ur moving from selective to selective or unless you have something crazy in your portfolio there’s virtually no chance u make it this year so you should try again next year when there’s new classes and less competition

I read so my forums of people asking Penrith or girra and you had 30% saying Penrith 30% saying girra and 40% calling them both bad

Ngl after hearing about both schools it’s making me feel grateful for my current school cause wdym u can’t pick your hsc subjects cause the school doesn’t allow u
