Nice portfolio bro. I think girra mainly cares about HAST and reports while penrith looks more into extracurriculars. I believe in yr 10 penrith opens up to 20-ish spots while girra opens 30 new spots.
Ik the amount of schools exactly each school opens for year 10 entry but im genuinely wondering who u are

So assuming u are a real person who DID get in to girra, is this hast score good enough? (This was my year 9 entry mark but I’ve gotten much better ever since and I’m crazy at writing now)
Alright so since you are applying for year 10, to almost be certain of getting in, you should aim for 2 15s and 2 10s. There will be more competition so yeah thats why.

I sat the exam at Girra and no joke I saw more year 8 entry applicants than year 10 entry applicants

Oh ye I’m just wondering is girra that good? Like is it better to apply for normo and baulko this year and if I fail go for normo and nsb cause of new classes or just get into girra this year and stick with it?

yeah girra is good but if you are confident/feel you are edutest fluent then feel free to go for it since they are objectively better schools

hmmmm, I mean depends on what u wanna do, like i have realised that baulko and those top schools only take people from decently ranked schools such as girra, so you may want the base.

Isn’t going from my current school to girra to nsb too much of a hassle? But then again ur right about having a good base. Either ways I wanna pursue medicine at university so I wanna do math extension 2k Eng adv, chem, and physics for my hsc

I feel like for that reason girra is good because you will get your subjects but if u transfer to those top schools it may be harder to get the subjects you want.

yeah that’s true and js remember that always low rank high school < higher rank mid school : and ext 2 will be harder to get in these top schools since everyone is smarter as well

and anyone you could decide when you go to girra whether you want to stay or whether you want to use it as a stepping stone to leverage your chances for going to higher school as nsb/baulko will be more inclined to pick you if you go girra
