@xiiaomeii my mum just said results come october 13th. Which, FYI, is friday the 13th, LMAO. Though, I still dont think im getting in because since it was my 3rd option, they'll only let me in if there's any vancancies. I doubt there will be. 🫡
so I just found out from my friend who got an interview that there’s no more spots available for St George girls 😟 so there’s that

guys i just came back from japan to find my rejection letter from fortstreet on the piano opened (it was probably my dad) and i actually did shit for everything except for writing (which i got in top 10%). I'm considering writing a letter to fortstreet so they can reconsider bc they said you could do that if you have valid reasons. I don't know i might just seem too desperate at this point in time but i'm going to trust in my writing skills and hopefully they'll reconsider. Man why am i so desperate the school i go to aint that bad anyways 😭
What reasons r u gonna say tho

also i received this email from sgg nearly 2 weeks ago:

Dear Parent/Carer,

Please be advised that we are currently processing applications and test results to determine possible placement in 2024. You will receive correspondence advising the outcome of your daughter’s application by 31 October 2023.

does this mean i still have a chance?
Yeah it means that they haven’t chosen definite people yet and are still in the process of doing it (i think). Not too sure actually since some ppl have received offers and interviews already

- test didn't show my full potential due to reasons that i don't want to mention here
- i've improved drastically since sitting the test
- i will make a good name for the school with my writing abilities (i participated in a writing comp idk the results yet but if i win a place i can use that to support my reasons ig idk)
- other stuff that i don't want to mention

Honestly my reasons just seem like a whole load of bull crap but im gonna try even though i already know they won't reconsider
Can you still send I thought there was a closing time?

honestly, i dont think report cards are actually an issue. i got into a top 10 selective school a couple of years ago after being on a scholarship at a private school, and my report cards werent good at all (mix of a's and b's, and a couple of c's) and my behaviour grade thing was TERRIBLE. i got the highest mark possible for writing in the exam, and did good in the other sections, and got offered spots at all the schools on my preferences.
damn wtffff lucky

I had a decent report (a's and b's and 1 c) and I have lot of extra curriculars and awards, but I did absolutely garbage in the the test, therefore, I was unable to get in.
