Did anyone do the Normo test? And also any idea when results are being released for Normo?

from the forum last year, I recall a few members here got interview invitation starting 21-22 August (late 3rd week after the test) so it might be happening right now.

Ngl, I don’t care if I don’t get into JRAHS. I did NBHS (normo) and Fort St. I did pretty good for NBHS in my opinion, and Fort St is just straight up guaranteed. So I have backup if I don’t get into the my most preferred school.

did you get offer to Fort? Why is it straight up guaranteed? I did not apply for Fort but Normo, curious on Fort process.

Because literally nobody tries out of Fort St, there is no test and the application is really simple. I’m already have a kinda strong application (in my opinion), so I think it is guarantee. Also, I got a Sydney boys reserve in selective, which is better than fort st, so I could’ve gone to Fort St if I had put it down before.

Nope it'll take them a while. HAST usually comes out mid september to early october. Succesful applicants first then unssuccessful ones

I did really well, especially in math. I think I'm going to get full marks. English was also easy, and so was verbal reasoning. I finished it in 3 minutes. Writing was plenty of time and I think I idd good. Verbal reasoning was the hardest I educated guessed 12 questions rest I did

You did Edutest for entry into year 9 right? If you did, do you by any chance remember the text in reading comp about flowers. I was kinda confused by that one, like the question about what part of the rose are they talking abt. I put hair tho I'm not sure if it's right. Do you remember what you put?

do you mean the alice in wonderland extract? In my paper for sydney girls there were no options for hair I'm pretty sure, I put Alice's dress. Or maybe there was (Ican't remmber exactly), but it seemed better to use her dress in the context. I think the answer is hair and I'm wrong. but If youre not talking abt that then im not sure what u mean sryy

Its my first time taking edu test I did HAST last year, I did preparation such as coaching and resources and I also bought practice ests from offical edu test website, and I counted approx 40 people in my cohort year 8 entry to year 9 doing Sydney Girls edu test

lmao I acctually remmber some of the texts in reading year 9 entry edu test bcs I read them before. Malala Yousafzi, The lion and the mouse, alice in the wonderland and the last was about an animal called honey badger pretty sure. I think there was smth else but the others were just grammar and small paragrpahs, like the first one was about dscovering water/ice on a different planet.
