Science curbing is also frequent so you have to be amongst the top to be allowed. But all I know is that a lot of Ruse kids get knocked out in the curbing process, because they take the best of the best

where are you getting this from about knocking back on students esp on science?
and why are you keep saying "they" when you refer to your school?

i meant knocking back on maths primarily not so much on science, but they have knocked people for science, I have experienced it myself for one sci subject. They refers to the teachers/faculty. What else do you want me to refer to them as? I'd say there is a chance, but from my experience its quite slim. If I were to say about transfer students being in leadership positions, then its usually the year 9 entries that have a better chance because they have a whole year and a half, and then also the house captain, sports captain thing occurs in year 10. but for school captain and all, yeah you could have a chance.

not meaning to come off as intense of anything but maybe cause nsb is much stricter and probably getting more advanced. also ruse is known to curb people, its definitely much less now, but i wouldn't go around saying it doesn't exist. I've gotten curbed from maths before, and I've even gotten a warning before from the teacher. you can tell my grade from my profile, but it was just a week ago, that I got called up, and the teacher who im not gonna name drop, warned me and said that they will curb me if i get a certain mark threshold because i picked some subjects for next year for maths..so....... I ain't' selling naything, I'm not even an ambassador or anything, just a normal student lol

you said in the other thread your younger sibling is year 10 rn, and trying out for year 11 next year but you are in the same year as her if you are HSC 2027. and, on that thread on you are also said we are getting 30 people when on that same week you mentioned, our yearly advisor told us how many transfers are coming in this year because we are sorting out camp groups for Nov, yeh?
and again like, we already chosen our subjects for next year and i didn't get the experience you had, so I questioned it. anyway, chill, all good. its likely we know each other

Can you please ask her again if it's actually year 8 entry? My mum is on a facebook group and no-one so far got calls for y8 baulko interview, there is a girl has 5 superiors too but still no call. That would be very appreciated as we just want to know if it's actually a case then we are out this year. Thanks so much.

I’m in year 11 right now that’s why I got rejected because half way through the year they told me not to take a subject so they gave me a new round of subject selection availabilities which I picked and got nitpicked again for . Low key cooked

And for the record I’ve never went to camp because my parents don’t let me for security sake and their paranoia so I wouldn’t know. When I helped my sister with the application, it said up to 30 students so I just assumed that this was a possibility. Plus now I know you’re in year 10 right? So you’d be the same year as my sister. I don’t think we know each other at all because I’m kinda not there when it comes to extracurricular and being in leadership. Though I can’t say the same about you.
