Australia post delivers every two days for letters so depending on your street it would either come by today or tomorrowThey’re coming out today.. right?
Cause Sydney tech rejected me last Friday and I need to get my result to submit an appeal by Friday
Could they arrive as late as like 8pm today cause no joke I’ve been checking the mailbox every 20 minsAustralia post delivers every two days for letters so depending on your street it would either come by today or tomorrow
me too i hope but If you remember if you got any mail yesterday (from aus post), if yes that means it would come tomorrowCould they arrive as late as like 8pm today cause no joke I’ve been checking the mailbox every 20 mins
I don’t think so but hey, at least it’s guaranteed to come by tomorrowme too i hope but If you remember if you got any mail yesterday (from aus post), if yes that means it would come tomorrow
no, its not guaranteed in a sense but there is an EXTREMELY high likelihood that you will get it (>90%) because things can happen that will slow down delivery but yeah its highly probably hahaI don’t think so but hey, at least it’s guaranteed to come by tomorrow
.. right?
I like those odds though but I get SOOOOO IMPATIENTno, its not guaranteed in a sense but there is an EXTREMELY high likelihood that you will get it (>90%) because things can happen that will slow down delivery but yeah its highly probably haha
Depends on my hast.. if I get top 25% or better I’m gonna appeal to Sydney tech cause I got rejected for choosing it as a 3rd pref and they give bias to people who select it first (allegedly)what's your reason for appeal?
Applying for 9 to 10, class of 28What yr are u in
did u get in?true but that could be just a fluke
Why grade are you applying for? I heard year 10 makes a brand new class so if ur y9 u got better oddsHi everyone, has anyone here completed the Girrawheen interview before? I’ve just received my results and found out I’ve been placed. Could you share what the interview experience was like?
I have, may I ask for what year you are applying for and what school you are currently in?Hi everyone, has anyone here completed the Girrawheen interview before? I’ve just received my results and found out I’ve been placed. Could you share what the interview experience was like?
congrats ur lucky broHi everyone, has anyone here completed the Girrawheen interview before? I’ve just received my results and found out I’ve been placed. Could you share what the interview experience was like?
Okay that’s actually pretty good. Usually selective schools don’t care about your school’s ranking unless the school you’re applying for is something prestigious like James ruse. Year 10 has a lot more open positions so I assume they accept around 50 kids for interviews and roughly 30 get in. They could ask questions like “Why do you think you belong here” or “How do you follow our school’s beliefs”. Just something like that. Practice with a friend and try to gain that confidence. Also, if you don’t mind me asking, what were your overall hast results?I am in Year 9 applying for Year 10. My school is ranked ~250.
Well, it's not really an interview, all the applicants are placed together and gave a quick run down abt the school. After that there are like 5 teachers (including principle), who will basically tell u what electives u got based on your selections.I am in Year 9 applying for Year 10. My school is ranked ~250.
Wait, if I don’t make it imma try out again in y10 but like do they make a new class for all the transfers in y10 and THEY choose your electives or do you get to? Also would u still be able to try out for accelerated coursesWell, it's not really an interview, all the applicants are placed together and gave a quick run down abt the school. Depending on the teacher, some may ask you about your report or etc, and others don't really care and hand you the enrollment form and stuff like that.
SO basically u got in, nothing to worry abt, some teachers may check ur report and ask like a few questions but its entirely up to them, just dont say anything stupid.
Good job in getting in mate
So all the kids who are attending, got into girra, but once u come here u better uphold the girra culture
