mb guys im prolly so late, but basically when i applied this yr to 1. syd tech 2. hurlstone 3. mac fields, im pretty sure for these type schools order does matter since a kid in my grade at tuition, he got into hurlstone which he ranked pref. 1 even tho he got same hast bands as me, and i got rejected from hurlstone, i made it to sydney tech, but that could be bcuz more vacancies, although come to think of it , i swear i heard everyone getting into hurlstone, like one in every 4 hast kids in my area (random statistic i made up) got into hurlstone.. and @Smartboiiii said he got rejected from syd tech cuz he ranked it 3rd, im not sure about top ranked schools (or mainly edutest schools), but i think they care a lot more about ECs too, also since none of the top ranked schools use HAST, its hard to tell, but i think for hast schools pref. might matter subtly.yeah maybe the other people who got in or know about it maybe be able to help, @clockiework @Smartboiiii @aaliya yeah sorry if I tagged the wrong people

I'm in year 7 right now, I'm doing edutest for year 9 entry (when I'm in year 8 next year). There's still a long time before the test, but I didn't get in this year when I did HAST so I thought I might need to prepare more.

My current school is a private school, and the rankings aren't even released for some reason. I've always wanted to go to penrith high because I live really close to it, but I've also been considering girraween, baulko and james ruse

Thanks for all the helpok its a long story. i never rlly wanted to go hurlstone but i also lived closer to macfields haha. but anyways, no i didnt do edutest in yr 9, but also, i never rlly wanted to mv schools. I wanted to test where i was at in camparison with everyone else. i have had quite a bit of fun rejecting many offer tho
