i got top 15% reading, top of middle 50% in maths (and science), middle 50% in abstract, and top 10% writing, overall i was in bottom of top 15% total

I literally got the same results and didn't even get reserved

Applying for a single sex school is better cause there’s gonna be half the competition.. I recommend u try out for Hornsby girls

i just did practice hast tests online (but u do have to pay for them), and tbh they were almost nothing like the real hast since its so unpredictable, but like the logic and speed and accuracy from those worked for me i think

Yeah that's kinda true... And plus I applied for year 8 entry, which is usually even more competitive. I only applied for Penrith btw, not girra

i live in the campbelltown (south west sydney) region so about 1.5 hrs each way by train commute to tech... i hope its worth it tho

Ahh the travel journey is around the same for me, 1-1.5 hours one way by train

It's just a public comprehensive high school, not like Epping Boys or Castle Hill HS level good, but it's just decent. I'd say around the 250-350 rank in NSW... What typa school do you go to?
