If anybody is interested I'm going to start a society for helping people make friends at UNSW. Does anybody know how to make one?

Societies/clubs also serve the latter, you find people who have commonalities with you and hence go from there.

And you can have astro btw, he's nothing to me now - NOTHING.

During high school I mostly kept to myself because everyone around me were idiots. Intellectually I was their superior in every way. Hence, I felt no need to interact with them. However, recently I have been feeling very lonely as I have not left my house since the HSC. Should I try to make more friends in uni or focus on my studies?

Well I obviously am because you did not capitalise the first word in your sentence and you spelt r and u wrong [are, you]. Also you can only end the sentence with either one question mark or exclamation mark, not a combination of a few!
