I'll still aim to get all superiors though

yeah i agree w thisUm I don’t know about that I’ve only heard about that for hast, they don’t gaf, they’re just trying to loot the best performers so if you put it as second pref and don’t get into first but you got good reports, good extracurricular, and 4-5 superiors with at least one high average then ruse will def be sending that email to you
for year 9 entry yh probably but i reckon you would need good excs/reports or something that makes you stand outSo technically the lowest you can get on edutest and still get into ruse is like 3 superiors and 2 above average right?
Ohh ok. I have like 2 excs and 2 academic achievements lol but I hope my edutest gets me infor year 9 entry yh probably but i reckon you would need good excs/reports or something that makes you stand out
i mean 5 superiors is ideal bahaha
i heard someone made it to interview with worse than that but idk if he got in
lol yeah that’s fine if your reports are like basically all As especially in all core subjects and no Cs and beyond and you perform well on the test it’s completely fine you’re getting in. I know I’d you apply to Baulkho, maybe it changed now but my friend applied last year for entry into year 10, and she got 2 d’s, one in maths and one in engkish and she still got in cause of eduOhh ok. I have like 2 excs and 2 academic achievements lol but I hope my edutest gets me in
oh thats more than enough for yr9 entry provided u do well on edutest, but you have like a whole year to study for edutest lolOhh ok. I have like 2 excs and 2 academic achievements lol but I hope my edutest gets me in
Yeah I can’t believe there were people who studied for like a month and got into any edutest transfer schooloh thats more than enough for yr9 entry provided u do well on edutest, but you have like a whole year to study for edutest lol
i had nearly the same amount
if you don’t mind me asking, what rank school are you from like top 10,20/30. And also you spiderlemonade?Ohh that's a relief, thanks for all the info!
my schools usually bottom of top 10if you don’t mind me asking, what rank school are you from like top 10,20/30. And also you spiderlemonade?
Oh that’s still pretty good. I just wanted to know where the majority of transfers came from. Most come from top 10 too, so it shouldn’t be too hard to adjust here. The lowest i know who’s transferred is from a 40+ ranked school.my schools usually bottom of top 10
when I tried searching up my school's ranking, it said it's not publicly available... But all I know is that my school's ranking isn't very high. That's basically the reason I was aiming for a higher ranked school. Do they take the current school ranking seriously when determining transfers for year 9?if you don’t mind me asking, what rank school are you from like top 10,20/30. And also you spiderlemonade?
me 2! pretty sure our principals didnt give permission ykwhen I tried searching up my school's ranking, it said it's not publicly available... Ahh not too much, especially if you score quite well like all to majorly superiors. But if there’s like a group of higher ranked school students and they perform and their reports and stuff are similar they might tend to prefer higher ranked students because they think it’s hard for students beyond a certain range to adjust. But I think it’s since, if the ranking isn’t available then it shouldn’t be an issuewhen I tried searching up my school's ranking, it said it's not publicly available... Didn’t Someone here transfer from hurlstone to jr this year? That’s like a jump from mid rank to top rank school. So it should be fine for you. Also you should try out for Baulkho too like put it as your second pref because there’s a good chance you could get into there as wellYeah hope so...
i second this, baulko opens up ~25 spots in yr9 from what i've heardDidn’t Someone here transfer from hurlstone to jr this year? That’s like a jump from mid rank to top rank school. Yeah I'm planning to call baulko after the school holidays end and ask how many spots they open up for yr 9 entry. Everyone's saying they open up a new class but I can't find any information abt it on their websiteDidn’t Someone here transfer from hurlstone to jr this year? Yeah I'll probably end up putting baulko as second pref if they do open ~25 spotsi second this, baulko opens up ~25 spots in yr9 from what i've heard
not a lot of schools open up a whole new class in year 9 so you have a good shot for baulko and ruse
