well penrith had a lot of competition. Thank you for your answer. Well Normanhurst is a bit far, but I think I can manage it. Will definitely look into it. Thank you!!
Depends on where u live for the most part but some kids would travel 2hrs to go to a better school (im looking at you @clockiework)

Also depends on what subject u wanna pick for hsc for example science, go to girra. Math, go to normanhurst, jr. English, go to baulko

(I don’t actually know if normo and jr are strong at math but it’s js an example)

Cause personally even tho I can make it (yes I CAN) make it into schools like Sydney boys, I would rather go to girra over Sydney boys solely cuz girra is strong in science and I wanna pick physics chem and bio, which lead me into med which is what girra is strong at. also cuz Sydney boys is full of sussy boys buts that’s beside the point, the point is not everything is abt the school’s ranking

Yeah last year I did edutest AND hast, failed both miserably (well not that bad honestly) but I got a taste of their entrance test so this year im sure to make it into some school (looking at u girra)

its not that close to the hast q style its a bit more subtle rather than straight forward like edutest
I can attest to this since the English was EXTREMELY straightforward and did not prepare me at all for the actual thing

trust you will make it in. I probably won't. I don't know what cursed spirit takes over, but i do marvelous in trial tests. And in the actual test my mind blanks

Okay so maths is more theory based than actual math (eg like I got a 6 sided die what’s highest possible of amount of __)
And abstract is EASY. It’s almost a 1 to 1 replica of ucat abstract reasoning but much easier, ar takes like a week max to fully understand and get every question right so those are the easiest marks
