wait i also used a quote from magi in the 2nd para but it wasn't from the extract, does that count?

also the 2021 question was specifically "how do the extracts contribute to textual conversations" so its more extract focused, but our question kind of wants you to explore both the tensions and the extract
Yea I used magi a lot (describing how it started, progressed, ended) and coupled it with hollow men I think anything that uses magi and is justified as building up to the conclusion can work (but I’m not a marker, just my opinion)

i think you are completely fine because im sure theres many people who used it conssitently throughout their essay without ever going into depth on what even the tension is, you demonstrated deep understanding by also showing what the tension is not just slapping it somewhere it doesnt fit

Yea without a good understanding of the tension you can’t be awarded super high marks

yeah anything at all from magi counts, I do think for this essay question we had to be very specific and constantly compare to show how in magi Eliot overcame the tensions and it was an effective resolution.. It was definitely harder than the hollow men extract given previously.

Also if you ever doubting i remember in trials they asked for ladybird and one other poem and i did 3 and only ladybird in one para and somehow got 18/20 so maybe markers arent as harsh as u think they are

sadly that one wasnt knox but it WAS another elite private school. quote from the news

The list, which featured photos of female students and ranked them from best to worst as “wifeys”, “cuties”, “mid”, “object”, “get out” and “unrapeable”, was discovered by the school last Wednesday.

also my friend said she countered the statement and talked about how it is only a partially effective resolution bc magi shows how spirituality is still a continual struggle. is that okay or do you reckon she answered it wrong?

#1 law is to keep the rich in power 😠
you know what i realised??? there's no right or wrong in the world. People have wrong ideas and treat others like trash, the right ones will come and fight back for their idea, a lot of lives are affected, the right becomes the wrong and the cycle continues man. Our whole society is taught to divide every subjective thing into two parts, with no other choice. Its a sad thing how people fight over this stupid bs. ik this is completely unrelated but i was thinking about and it and i dont want to sound like a main character so dont get me wrong
