maybe you are the main character coz thats so true much of our lives are taught to us as a "wrong or right no inbetween" typa thing and also us vs them. i wish english covered topics like that instead of old books coz it woulda made the subject beneficial

omg that was the exact thing i was thinking a while back. like srsly the systems so goddamn broken and i dont think it will ever not be. and its like every time smth atrocious happens, it makes u lose hope for humanity and for the broken system all over again. and thats y i think every time u feel like giving up, this is all the more reason to rise up bc ultimately, all these vulnerable ppl, u might not be able to save them all but someday u might be out there changing a life and that will mean the world to someone

Coz at the end of the day your final HSC mark is depended on your performance externally + internally among the people in your cohort / 2
So I don't see this 'competing with the other kids from the state' thing

tbh many older religions like paganism and hinduism (older versions) focused on ethics and didnt have a predefined right or wrong for every scenario. However, modern religions created this bipolarism and while the people who developed these religions had the intentions of leading everyone to the right path, it just created a lot of division between people. like these kinda laws need to exist to help us in making decisions throughout our lives but at the same time they also create so much hate between each other. i truly believe that this division in our society will lead to our eventual downfall.
