That's fair, I'm getting scholarships and I have friends down there, but I totally understand that it's not for everyone!

i reckon unimelb is better for postgraduate courses. It doesn't have many undergrad courses. But honestly, take the risk and go to the US its gonna look good in your repertoire.

I've got darker skin and I'm openly woke as, I am not taking the risk of getting deported to el salvador or worse, plus I loveee melbourne

eng adv, modern history, maths adv, biology, chemistry
im pretty sure i scored around 40-50/100 for the recent eng exams (i didnt study at all and memorised few quotes like an hr before both exams)
and for tmr's modern history i hvnt studied for it at all i only hv very surface knowledge on each topic so estimating 40-50 range again
maths im not confident ill do well like around 60-70 range
bio im ok hvnt revised tho
chem i hv a lot of time and im def gonna study a lot for it once bio is done

I think that might be some unis that do "unconditional" offers but still say you have to complete hsc. That is don't get a mystery mark. Or they say the offer's unconditional but you still have to meet the prerequisite subjects (pass in them >50%).
