Okay well I'll bring an example HSC paper from my tutor, belonging photocopied Pheonix guides and perhaps my essay on Romulus, My Father which I scored 17/20 for? How's that sound, Namzzzz? :p
That sounds good. :uhhuh:

To other attendants: yeah, bring any English stuff (especially the Belonging-related items)

Oh yeah, what was it? 13 people going? Can Nathan confirm that for us? In the emails it looks as if there's only 6 people going.

11 in total. Me and Vicky aren't going on the first day so that makes 9 (and I'm guessing one or two people won't show up anyway).
I suppose you gotta ask Nathan to be sure..

Yes Nathan can confirm for you people :)
^^ I feel like Elmo saying that.

I didn't email your sister and one of Jeffery's friends, and of course I'm not emailing myself. Therefore altogether there's only 11 people (originally I anticipated 13 but a few people declined).

Hey guys. I will just use this thread as a public announcement board.

What to bring:
  • basic stationery (e.g. pens, pencils, erasers, calculators, compass whatever you can bring, you might be able to borrow from me as well...because I am nice. :p )
  • textbook/study guides that you might want to share. I want to stress that these are to be quite "exclusive" because we don't want to have too many same books lying around. So don't bring something like 4 unit fitzpatrick or cambridge or excel...
  • if you wish to teach something, you are the one who needs to bring great variety of books. For example, I am helping out for maths so I will bring all maths books I got (well nearly all) - so don't bother with maths books really unless you got terry lee or some good past papers
  • papers, notes, whatever that you can use to write
  • notes as in notes that you prob made for your subjects
  • other stuff that might be useful really
  • some money for lunch/etc.
What to keep in mind:
  • we will figure out how we will work out (i.e. study) on the day
  • don't make your carriage too heavy. Make it light unless you are some sort of tank. :p oh wait....
  • Make sure you know the time and location (won't specify here)
  • we will meet at the front gate, i suppose?
  • if you can teach for a certain subject, please help out.
  • Let's be nice to each other, haha (that means say hello)
Anyway, remember that:
First study group may not be successful and it usually isn't. People are confused and everything but we will make the most out of it, hopefully

And the focus of this study group is to help others, and motivate each other. We are not going to go fully insane about studying. We will definitely get to do heaps of work but not to the extent where we burn ourselves. Anyway, enjoy!

For further questions, pm me or pm the "organiser".

Awesome, thanks for that Namu.

I'll bring Terry Lee so no one else bring that okay? I'll also bring:
  • Sample English HSC paper
  • General Belonging Notes
  • Maths in Focus (because I need help with Binominal Theorem)
  • Patel (because I need help with Factorisation of Complex Numbers)

  • Creelman for Physics because it is the bomb!
  • My booklet of 2U trials or whatever i had lying on my table before.
  • What I've done for my module C advanced english essay + visual rep assignment on my USB, because i'm out of ink =="
  • Physics notes so far on my USB, because i'm out of ink =="
  • Extension history and modern history folder(though i don't know who even does history besides me XD)
  • Extension history major logbook so i can do work/people can take a look

I think that's all that'll fit in addition to stationary so yeah XD

Yeah, let's meet at the gate or just inside if it's raining/cold :D

You're welcome, i was going to bring it anyway because it's an awesome book that showed me that 1. I had forgotten most of the course from a week of nothingness and 2. That i really despise multiple choice aha

Study Group today was an awesome experience guys. It was great to finally meet Namu, Anna, Jeffery and Vivian and meet up with Victor and Nathan again. Although we (actually, me - haha) didn't get much study done, it was definitely a very motivational and memorable experience (particularly at the restaurant and all that left over money :p). You guys are so awesome - I can't wait for another one! :)

EDIT: And I forgot to of course thank Nathan for organising such an event.
