nono my subjects at hurlstone were: 3u math 2u eng, chem, eco, bio and sor1
i wanna do law in the future but i didnt want to have essay heavy subjects which is why i didnt choose legal at hurlstone even tho i hate bio

lol if you wanna do law you should have done legal but makes sense, eco is essay heavy though I heard so many people complaining. Plus there’s a legal excursion in y11, and I heard it was fun have you already chose subjects

I called girra earlier this year before applying for HAST, and they said nobody has left the yr 7 cohort so far this year, so there are no places available. I guess ppl could still get in if they got reserved, because someone could leave in term 4 this year or term 1 next year...

according to the rankings on better education penrith is better than girraween by 3 places

I live closer to Penrith but I'm happy with going to girra if it's better. I live like 5 mins away from Penrith and 30 mins away from girra.

ok if you're worried, just wait for the rankings to come out early next year and if Girraween has a 10+ rank difference then apply there ig, but imo their rankings are always gonna be relatively similar and they seem to fluctuate kinda a lot and thats just what happens to schools in rank 30-45. i personally think that you should just apply to penrith bc its sm closer for u and this lowk sounds hypocritical bc of my own situation but travel time can do a LOT, like that 25 minute difference is more sleep or study or just more downtime between school and whatever u need to do afterwards. but you should also consider things like extracurricular culture, overall school culture, etc. (i personally think girra and penrith are very similar in the two aspects)
