NO CUS ON THEIR WEBSITE THEY HAVE THAT THEY ACCEPTED 24 NEW KIDS BUT THE THING IS U NEED ALSO TO CONSIDER THOSE WHO PUT SGG AS SECOND OR THIRD :(
Do they give priority to those who put sgg as first?

Nah u is alr they rarely care for those who got sgg as second or third js because its rare for kids to have a wide acceptance gap type thing in-between schools AND not get into the first one
and remember some kids put the schools in the wrong order like for example during selective they mighta put paramatta before penrith even tho penrith is more academic and better for them
trust you'll be fine

what ru talking abt... nsg has 52 applicants last year compared to 45 for sg (coming from aunt who works in the edutest department), and nsg and sg both accepted 3 each so sg has higher acception rate, esp for yr 11 they accept up to 25 new students compared to nsg who accept up to 10 students (both r on top of the ones that leave and go ruse or baulko)
my bad cause thats what my friend who also tried out said about the fort street kids mbmb..
according to ur aunty can u tell us how many r trying for sghs yr 11 entry this year? thanks

For me (ik no one asked but i want to see if anyone relates):

Reading 9/10: super easy im like 88% sure i got most of my answers correct but that cus i was previously familiar w most texts especially that George Orwell statement cus i anysed 1984 for fun (i eventually didnt find 1984 fun tho dont recommened)

Mathematics & science 7/10: math was 'interesting' THAT ONE SEQUENCE QUESTION LITERALLY NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS ABT HELP but since most of the exam was graphs n im pretty good w graphs the math was alright, science tho was SO EASY the circuits, light and classification questions were SO EASY AHAHAHAG

Abstract reasoing 8/10: fairly easy flew w the 'find the next one' but the 'find in the middle' was fun complicated in a way it got me thinking but it definetly took me less than a minute lets just hope i actually found the correct sequence n wasnt hallucinating

Writing 9/10: had all my ideas correctly talked abt equity, safety n public transport at the beginning it was equity, safety n equality but changed n i wrote the half a page given plus a full page w 2 lines from the following page, the reason i didnt give it a 10 was bc i was writing abt countries in general (didnt realise it said your) but when i did i couldnt say australia bc we have all the things i was discussing so ended up writing my 'actual' country which lets hope doesnt affect my mark :(
I JUST DIDNT WANT TO REWRITE THE WHOLE THING TO MAKE AUSTRALIA THE TOPIC

sorry ik the whole 'review' is long n probably most of u guys wont read it but for those who did how did u find the HAST? Also last yr i got very low 50% this time hoping to get top or middle of the middle 50% category (cus reality i WONT get top 25% trust ik)
reading 7/10
maths 7/10
abstract 8/10
writing 7/10

It’s okay I don’t think you messed up as bad as me. Idk what I was thinking, I wrote creative (a letter of all things) about another country I’m not even from, in the 19th century… I didn’t even realise the stimulus mentioned ‘you’ and ‘your country’ until after the test so I think I’m screwed. 😭

This doesn’t really apply for me, but imo your home country is still ‘your country’. They didn’t say you had to specifically talk about Australia so I think it’ll be fine.
GIRL I ALSO DIDNT REALISE MY THESIS LITERALLY SAID 'some countries' THEN I HAD TO CHANGE IT TO MY HOME COUNTRY CUS ALL THE STUFF I WANT TO DISCUSS AUSTRALIA HAS 😭😭
