i mean if you look at your school website for entry into 8-11 it says the amount of seats available, but it doesn’t mean all the seats will be filled. As far as I know, the top schools mention that historically little to no students get in for year 8 entry.

Hey guys has anyone who chose girraween as their first preference gotten the letter back yet? Personally I’m applying for y9 and I haven’t got any letters back from girraween at all so I’m considering just emailing the school because this is the last day their office is open. It can take a few business days for the letter to arrive especially if you're living further away from the school, it give it some time.

Okay so my parents called Sydney tech and Girraween (I had 1st pref ruse 2nd pref girraween and 3rd pref tech) and Girraween said it’s coming out by mail and the delivery could take some time. Sydney tech said that anyone who chose it as first preference already got their message back and anyone who chose it as a second third preference should get their results by email today regarding y9 entry. Year 9 is the only delayed one so if you’re in any other grade applying for Sydney tech and haven’t got a message back youre either reserved or didn’t make it. Hope this helps
