I would really really appreciate it as I'm taking the HAST test next week. I applied for it very last minute and am stressing out because I haven't been able to find many resources for the senior level test.
Hey I know you probably don't remember what you got on your HAST test, but I was just curious (because I'm also applying for st george) if you have a rough idea of how high did you score to get an interview for the school? (around what percentile)

anyways she made the shortlist but unfortunately didnt make it in but her REPORTS N EXTRA CORRICULARS WERE LIKE RLLY GOOOD SHE CAME I THIK 1ST IN ENG 2ND IN MATH N TOP 10 IN OTHER SUBJECTS AS A SELECTIVE STUDENT so i guess sgghs dont consider HAST as a big thing*cough* she got low 15% *cough*wait (ok serious mode) my sister got the interview for sgghs too for yr 11 n her HAST was like … um… (trying to word it to not make my sister sound stupid) lower ig?
but at the time she had her reasons

i went to the 3 lowest skl jn the state (u can check that skl) cus it was my local n i had reports ALL STRAIGHT A’S (yr 8 sem 2 n yr 9 sem 1) w a fair amount of extra cocurriculars (im new to Australia so literally had no idea what that was so i was slowly participating in some) n until now i still think that my skl was the reason for not accepting me
(i moved to selective for a partially selective skl)
i dont mean to be rude or anything but FOR ME even though i did much better than my sister in the HAST last yr i feel like they only considered her cus she was selective? Ik another girl who also got in n she also was selective

random writing prompts/images
random reading comprehension yr 10 found online
math n science (not sure how to prepare for that)
i dont like go to a "low" ranking school like top 85 public school and my report us good but there are usaually but thats the lowest like there are no sometimes . but tbh idk if that will looked upon negatively? but like the test is the main thing i a worried abtAWH I WAS LIKE U LAST YR

yes ull be shocked how important behaviour reports r for selective skls MAKE SURE ALL/MOST OF THEM ARE CONSISTENTLY
like WHOLE SECTION??? what is tested in that?
No its part of math, check this website; scroll to secondary tests n click mathematical reasoning n read it; it tells u exactly what subjects u r going to be tested on
By science being in the math section do you mean that there's science topics within the math questions, or do the science questions rely on you having prior science knowledge to answer it (like having to remember the topics learnt at school)? I'm taking the test for the first time this year so I have no idea what to expect..
