I'm not scared... because either way... i'm still gonna have to face Year 12. I'll just focus on doing my best and working hard to achieve the best marks possible. I'll be soo happy when the last HSC exam is over though!!!

Exactly, if you're a smart student in a shit school... you'll still do really well. Just like if you are a dumbass student.. you'll do shit no matter what school you are at...

Monday - nothing Tuesday - nothing Wednesday - Maths tutoring/coaching (4:45-6:30) Thursday - nothing Friday - nothing besides msn all night... used to participate in tennis comp Saturday - Tennis (2-3) Sunday - Church (10AM - 10:45 roughly)

We have heaps of random exams... got one coming up Friday =[ 6 weeks in advanced... i probably would've left it to the last minute.

Yeah and it puts less pressure on us. However when it comes to the Prelims at the end of the year, we'd prob be less prepared in having to study for all subjects at the same time.

Let's put it this way... if you guys have a high average... then being ranked in the Top 10 is pretty good, because chances are all of you guys will do good. If you go to a school where everyone is shithouse and will fail, then you should be aiming for first, otherwise you'd be having shit...

Just because you go to a decent ranking school doesn't mean you can slack off. A kid who goes to a Top 200 school who slacks off and only meets the average is gonna do worse than the kid who goes to the last ranking school, and ripps every assignment and does really good in the external exam...

We don't have an official half-yearly period, we just have exams spread out, like English might have a listening task, and physics might have a test a few weeks later.. nothing official.

Second that. Stuff scaling... the person who invented scaling should be killed. Unless I do good in 4u maths... then god bless him/her!

You need to achieve good marks to get a good ranking. They relate with each other, and you should be striving to get good marks as well as a good ranking.
