My parents usually say stuff like:
"You failed to get into selective in Year 6, there is no second chance in HSC."
"You know you have to study more than other people, go study."
"You are still not serious and mature at your age."
"It would be good to put you in Africa/with a drug abused family to see how you really handle life."
Oh-my-god. If my mum said something like that to me...

Dropping 2 Units (either Jap, SaC, or Ancient History) and picking up EX2 to see if I can handle it.

OR Dropping 4 Units (I have 14) and picking up EX2 and HX1.

Oh yeah, I've heard that one before. :p

I guess my parents have always had their way with me, and I've never really argued back. Rule number 1 in my household, never argue with my mother - she has a gun. :p

that goes through my head - no parental/external influence needed. except instead of the africa part i've got my mum and dad's life stories.

but to the topic: i'd like to drop eco and down to 2U SOR and take eng ext. 2 and ext. his., but that'd be suicide; it'd be more likely that eco will get dropped [read: die in the depths of a fiery hell] and his. ext. will be the only change [according to mother]. :hammer:

Depends on how harshly your school marks. What ranks did you get?
