That's the only thing I did for the whole IPT subject. Get that boring and thick book and summarise. Actually me and my friend took on 2/3 modules each, and that way we both got band 6's, so it's heaps worth it.

I got a band 4 and got 97! (didn't count to my ATAR though)... But it's obviously possible to get a band 4 in one subject and still get a 90 +

The state rankings that are published in the papers, is what I mean. Is it based on the raw marks in the exam, or a student's overall hsc (after scaling/moderating etc). Thanks :)

You can get any mark in almost any school with a good attitude and consistent effort. Mine would've been ranked 180-190 this year.

Not really, I considered dropping IPT, Physics and Extension Maths in year 12. Lucky I didn't as you really don't know what's not going to count until you sit the HSC. (physics is evil)

Physics is terrible. I guess having a chemical enginner as a teacher with a PhD doesn't really pay off. (Hence its absence from my siggy) A word of advice: screw physics!

You might want to do some paintings. A suggestion is "Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog" by Friedrich... Goes well with Coleridge (I did it)... or you could do "Liberty Leading the People" by Delacroix as Romanticism was also a political movement, which also goes well with Amazing Grace

Mine was so bad, I got Andrea (post above mine) to do half of it the night before. If you're anti-nature you might wanna base it on the political idealism or gothicism (with a tiny bit of nature) as you never know what the stimulus or question will be.

It really is quality over quantity. I think it's better to answer what the question is asking you, rather than to just unload all the information that you know of. Don't stress too much about your conclusion, you won't lose a considerable amount of marks (if any).
