The hsc markers are given a specified amount of years where they mark the hsc so it will normally be most of the same markers each year. After those years that they have are finished, they can be selected again, so there is only a small number that do get to mark the hsc.

There are advantages and disadvantages of having the trials early. I think that you should keep making notes on the main points according to the syllabus, and anything that you don't really know about, and then read over the rest from your notes.
