guys is it better to memroise all paragphs for ts eliot poems or just 2-3 and hope for the best?

Just memorise quotes u should be able to get enough context and info to analyse the extract

you need to talk about form of shakespeare's play, historical drama (NOT A TRAGEDY), and you need to talk about Pacino's context more, capitalism, individualism, apathy, 21st century, etc. Could also elaborate a bit more on shakespeare

but wouldn't all that be done in the paragraph, that was just intro?

It doesn't matter, with some questions it is useful and some questions it is not. Like a question about enduring value/form specific question you would say 'composer does blah, connoting blah'.

wait my teachers said not to do general for topic sentences...

establishing ur talking points is always a good idea. my teachers said that most markers can tell what ur mark will be/ur band/quality of essay from the intro

its arguably the most versatile of the poems and it can be adapted into lots of arguments... if the question specifies something about spirituality, or the extract is from Magi, how will you build argument????

honestly out of all the poems you cld skip this ones such a risk like i think its a rlly good transition out of prufrock/preludes/rhapsody and into magi... since theres a high chance of mod being an extract (and magi being the most contextually significant poem) you cld build a much stronger argument if you talk ab his past ideas of pseudo salvation in hollow men. then again, totally up to you but i feel like youd be missing a big piece of eliots context if you dont prep it

I had one paragraph with the poem they told me to do and one other. but the rest of the essay was two poems without the one they told me to do if that makes sense? so yeah i was basicalaly writing the wrong essay but i still somehow got 18/20

I did refrence the poem but only in one para. they said do Ladybird and ONE other poem. my essay was body 1: aquarius and radiance, body 2: ladybird and radiance and 3rd body was again aquarius and radiance. so i only had 2 quotes from ladybird in my entire essay
