consideringscaling and all, id go for adv. if you can do adv for other maths why not. just work at it so you get a good grasp for it. i think youll find its worth it, particularly if you like maths.

some schools (eg school of chemistry) have handbooks. these usually state the textbooks which are used and what reference books are used. you could find these by following links from the usyd faculty websites

summer school and bridging cousres are pretty cram packed i have heard. a friend of mine has done it before.

my school was home to the lip gloss bitches with their alarms that go off every 5 min to reapply their lip gloss. most didnt get into usyd thank god.

maybe i could have said it a bit clearer, but saying "I THINK its a really not nice profession" isnt that hard to take in and understand. and "ID hate to work for a guilty person and send someone innocent to gaol". i never once said i hated lawyers either. or it IS a really not nice profession...

yeah well i respect that people have to fill the role or profession of lawyer. i dont like what they have to do but someone has to do it. i dont have to like the profession just like you may not like how doctors deal with blood and guts. i respect lawyers for what they do cause its a hard...

i cant tell whether i am a snob or not but i dont think everyone is snobby at usyd. i think usyd is *one of the best* nsw unis for science and thats why i am going. unsw wasnt an option really cause its too far for me to travel, mac isnt great for science and uws isnt that great from what i have...
