Say if you can't find any archaeological or written evidence to support your theory, but you have heaps of scientific evidence available, can you use scientific evidence to support a theory?
Thanks.
anyone know anything about St George Girls High enrolments? Apparantely it says to include a school stamp on your school reports, but if the school doesn't stamp it, then will they still accept your application?
I have a few other questions to ask:
1) Does St George Girls High force you to do...
Hey ppl,
I found out that I'm gonna have to do Standard English. Does this mean my life is screwed?
I mean, who's going to want to employ someone who did Standard English? :(
I cant believe my whole life is going to be ruined
I dont exactly fall asleep but I lay my head on the table a lot.
Last term, teachers have started to get really annoyed at me sleeping. Come to think of it, I fell asleep for 20 minutes while watching a movie in History once. It was Alexander the Great movie :(
And I love sleeping through...
Just had to be about school :mad1:
I only do homework if I think it's important. And of course, if the teacher checks. I had a homework letter sent home before and it wasn't very nice. It was stupid as well because the principal wrote it and it had all this crap going on about how I will be a...
Re: What UAI are you aiming for?
hey im in year 10. whats the point of getting a high UAI, if you already have a minimu m for uni? like say 85 to become a teacher , but you want 95.
or is it just ambition?
Year 10's!!! What electives are we doing for the School Certificate?
Do you like the subjects you chose?
Are you going to do them next year?
I am doing:
Music  - I regret this choice. I hate it to hell. Not doing it in HSC:) (not even for 100 dollars)
History :) - Really interesting...
Just wondering. We're all newbies towards the HSC and most of us have just started getting our subject selection forms. When I first received my subject selection form and news about HSC crap, I thought about the uai I wanted to aim for.
I know there is a thread on year 11 and Year 12 people...
This is one of the best books that I have read for English study. It's much better than Shakespeare. Much better than Jane Austen.
It's short and so cute. Such a easy read as well.
The ending was sad though. But it was funny how it changed to Four legs good, two legs better. lol. I like it...
I realised nobody placed a thread about Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. awww well
Personally, I think that its better than Deception Point but nowhere near as Angels and DEmons and the Dav vinci Code. The book was a bit preditable though but not as predictable as Deception Point.

Average number of books most people read in a year is 50. (source: reader's digest) That means from January 2005 to June 2005, most would or should have read about 25
So far in the year..... If you've read:
5 or below : must not like reading
5 - 10 : aint good
10 - 15: below average

I have. In English, when I spend heaps of time planning how to write the essay beforehand, I walk out of the hall feeling that I did great, but I end up doing really crap, and when I mean crap I mean under 50%. At some times, I dont study for the English topic and end up walking out...
Just want to know. How many people do you think apply for one selective school each year? and im talking yr 8-12. not year 6. how many make it?

How did everyone go in their half yearly exams? :mad1: I know this isnt important, but nevertheless, lets diss subjects we got shit in.
